HIGHS IN THE MID SIXTIES vol.9
I'm sure that you're pretty familiar with this legendary 80's multi volume garage series from AIP label [a companion to the Pebbles series], featuring regional mid 60's rock scene. Well lately some melody stuck on my mind and it was "Can't Get Enough Of Your Love" by The Dantes, a real cool folk garage punker. So, I decided to post this volume, my favorite from this series and the very first I got on vinyl. As a whole it's not 100% hot but it has great B side with Dagenites - I Don't Want To Try It Again, Chylds - Hay Girl, Choir - I'm Going Home, Outcasts - Loving You, Sometimes, Sound Barrier - Hey Hey. There are couple of fine cuts on A side as instro Batmobile by Squires and Tree Stumps - Jennie Lee. If you dig this series I'm gonna post more. Now... Dig!
