Serbian 60's Garage
Here are some most profilic 60's garage groups from Belgrade, Serbia. The first are SILUETE [The Silhouettes] fronted by legendary blue haired singer Zoran Miscevic, a cult figure in Serbian Rock history. Here they play the cover of The Spencer Davis Group tune ''I'm A Man''.
The second are CRNI BISERI [Black Pearls] with raw fuzzy take on ''Wild Thing'' and their own hit tune ''Nisam više taj'' [I'm not the same]. There's a cool video with them riding on a train and playing Wild Thing, but I can't find it right now.
Next group are SAMONIKLI [The Sprouts] with cool cover of Hendrix ''Can You See Me'' and instro tune ''Usamljena gitara'' [Lonely Guitar].
Then there are PLAMENIH PET [Flame Five] with their own tune ''I've Never Be Alone''.
The last one are ELIPSE with cover of The Monkees ''I'm a Believer'' filmed in Belgrade zoo near mokees cage, and raw instro rave-up appearance in cult Serbian 60's flick ''Nemirni'' [Restless]. Dig!!!
