As requested here's 25 trax collection showcasing the very best of of the legendary late 70s Northern Ireland label Good Vibrations . This important release features contributions from quintessential bands such as Rudi, the Undertones, the Outcasts, Protex, the Moondogs and the Bankrobbers (featuring Joby Fox who of course went on to join Energy Orchard with another legend - Bap Kennedy). Also includes previously unreleased cuts by Shock Treatment and the Androids. If any New Wave could be therapeutic, here it is. This is a an absolutely glorious soaring collection of non-hits (that should have been, of course) which benefit from their innocent and wonderfully naive production. A testament to the times, they say more about the real illumining spirit of music in Northern Ireland in the late 1970s/1980s than any other collection, and easily match the best of Stiff Little Fingers or the Undertones. Just let yourself be transported back to a late 70s small record label sound, turn the volume up, have a few jars and you'll see what I mean. You'll be hooked first time. Promise.
